New track
Thanks to Pam for sending in these images with some great news for the East.
Hello BE Net,
Out walking today and see a new section of walking track is being constructed in the East!
The track is along the old Ballarat to Buninyong rail line, linking the Pennyweight Creek Trail with Spencer Street.
It looks like a bridge is going to be built across the creek. One of the photos shows an old post, no doubt part of the original rail bridge.
When I was taking the photos three people came along and made positive comments about another track to explore. It’s good to know Easties are out keeping fit and enjoying their environment.
