Birds.

Koalas.

Miners Cottages.

Wide streets.

Tourist attractions.

Organic Nature.

Gateway to Ballarat.

Border of the CBD.

Has environmental heritage.

Low density.

Community Spirit.

Kangaroos.

Good place to raise children.

Walking and Bike tracks.

Water ways/Lake Esmond/creeks.

Mature trees.

Streetscape/tree lined streets.

Koalas.

Avenue of Honour.

A mixture of houses/factories/little miners’ cottages/land.

Community Garden.

Wildlife Park.

Residents.

    With the responses gleaned from the Brainstorm, a document outlining the resident’s vision for the area should be produced, signed by the residents and delivered to the council so that they have our vision on record. Maybe they can use the document as a reference for their permit processes?

    What about a nomination from Ballarat East for the Heritage Awards. Categories and criteria on line. Google Ballarat Heritage Awards for all the info.
