Its a flood prone block as the picture here across the road shows.
Its also in the transition area between locals and the bush. Therefore its a delight to see that this 5 block subdivision has lots that are ALL over 1000 sm… While it will mean the removal of four trees, the report states the block has a total of over 60 trees.
Local Resident Stephen has read it up: “Mainly my concern is that it will be built in a flood zone, on reading through some of the details it lists that there is within 1km, a skateboard ramp, tennis court and Eureka pool. It also states footpaths exist in the neighbourhood, while this is true they do not exist anywhere near the subdivision or Sparrow ground. Another error in C20 Neighbourhood Street Network Detail, states Spencer St is to the North!”
