White Flat to VCAT

Hi Everyone at BE Net,

Those objectors make sure you forward your notice of objection to VCAT, Ethan and our council. If you need help then email Geraldine at preservewhiteflat@yahoo.com.au

If you are unsure what you want to write on your objection, I have taken the liberty to document councils objections and wording and added some. I add them here if your would like to cut and paste or use some of the wording.

1. The proposal by virtue of its scale, height, massing and design detail, would adversely affect the heritage character of the area, contrary to clauses 12, 22.05, 43 and 65 of the Ballarat Planning scheme.
2. The proposal by virtue of its scale and intensity represents an overdevelopment of the site, contrary to clauses 15, 55 and 65 of the Ballarat Planning Scheme.
3. The proposal fails to provide adequate internal amenity for future occupiers of the development, contrary to clauses 52.06, 55 and 65 of the Ballarat Panning Scheme.
4. The proposal fails to provide adequate on site visitor parking provision, contrary to clauses 52.06, 55 and 65 of the Ballarat Planning Scheme.
5. Insufficient contamination information has been provided to demonstrate that the site is suitable for residential development, contrary to clause 65 of the Ballarat Planning Scheme.
6. The area is unsuitable to the increase in traffic flow with inadequate road width, no kerb and channel and no footpaths.
7. Parking of visitor and tenant vehicles on the roadside will increase an already hazardous driving condition, due to the natural fall of the hillside and blind corners.

Have a great Christmas, Regards Geraldine.

    Hello there
Can anything be done regarding a Industrial shed built by a plumber in a Zone 1 residential area towering 9 metres above us
We lodged with the BCC an objection approxinmately 9-12 before the shed was built requesting it be cut in 2-3 metres so that it did not cut off our winter sunlight devalue our home etc etc etc however we were given the run around by Council and they never replied to our objection on Council documenation. After going away for a few days we arrived home to find the frame up and away.
Because Council ignored us and never responded the time lapse to appeal to VCAT was sabotaged
