FoCC Update 2

Good afternoon friends,
The winter rains are having a very good effect on the forest, with the new growth on the ex plantation sites continuing.

FoCC meeting.
A meeting of the Friends of the Canadian Corridor will be held at the Earth Ed, Olympic Drive, Mt Clear at 5 pm to 6pm on Wednesday June 25.
The meeting agenda will include follow up action on the four items moved at the Forum on March 13th.
Also reports on the series of meetings held with the Council and other agencies.
All FoCC members are welcome to attend.

Support Letters
Letters of support for a Canadian Forest Park are still being sought from groups who use or have an interest in the forests future.

Rubbish Dumping
Recently the Friends have been involved with the Courier in articles about rubbish dumping.
The App “snap send solve” is a mobile phone application which allows you to snap rubbish or other things and send it directly to then COB or Department of Environment and Primary Industries.
The app can be accessed for free at www.snapsendsolve.com
(Click here for an article written about this app last year by BE Net – http://ballarateast.online/snap-send-solve/ Its simple to use and if you ask that the council reply to you they will.)
