Yes indeed, there are quite a few 3rd party mobile Council service request sites and apps online…but how many actually go directly into council request systems & automatically assign the job to the teams that do the work? The good news is that ours does! http://www.ballarat.vic.gov.au/OnTheGoSo we have tested it and here’s the response we got on email:
Your General Enquiry request has been successfully submitted to the City of Ballarat. Your request reference number is 579085.
Then we got this email with a letter attached:
Thank you for your enquiry. Your request for the tree’s to be replaced in Fussell Street, Ballarat East has been lodged through to the arborists within the Parks Department. If you wish to check on progress of your request at a later date, your request number is 579085. If you have any further enquiries about this request please contact Customer Service on phone 03 5320 5500. Requests for service can also be logged via eServices at https://eServices.ballarat.vic.gov.au
So we will keep in informed about progress, and let us know how you go with your requests…
