BALLARAT’S FUTURE – THE STATE GOVERNMENT’S PERSPECTIVE BRIEFING
As a member of the Ballarat Strategy Community Reference Group, l would like to invite you to ‘Ballarat’s Future the State Government’s Perspective’, a briefing by State Government officials on recent State Government policies that affect Ballarat.
This briefing is a great opportunity to raise awareness and understanding of key State Government policies and what they mean for Ballarat.
Key representatives from Regional Development Victoria and the Department of Transport, Planning and Local infrastructure will be presenting on the following:
- Implications for Ballarat from Plan Melbourne Metropolitan Planning Strategy, the State Governments new long term plan for Melbourne’s growth.
- The Central Highlands Regional Growth Plan, the State Government’s plan for the future of our region.
- Recent State Transport Plans including, Victoria- the Freight State.
The briefing details are as follows:
Date: Monday 9 December 2013
Time: 2:30pm to 4:00pm
Venue: Trench Room, Ballarat Town Hall, 225 Sturt Street Ballarat Victoria.
Tea and Coffee will be provided.
