Community Meeting for Ballarat East

Well the results are in, and slowly going online here at ballarateast.net/meeting-2012.

So much information and so little time, however we had a great result with people signing up for enews, we now sit at 116 subscribers and 69 facebook likes (we are hoping you share this soon and save us some ignominy). And that’s what its going to take to get the message out there folks, we’d appreciate any little bit of sharing or support you can provide.

You can do that by using the links at the bottom of every page and post with facebook, twitter etc, you could ask your friends to sign up too, and you could also make a comment on a page or post by using the comment box at the bottom of every page or post, its important to keep the conversation going.

Thanks so much to those people with great email addresses, and writing clearly, so I could read it in the dark of night when I had to add you all. Names like Woolleyville, FairyJosie and JerryG – you know who you are! We had about five bounce-backs so if you are not getting this and you think you should sign up here… And thanks also to the developers who have signed up, its great to see some proactive interest from the industry in what we have to say.

You can access all info as it goes up through the main menu above, and access specific elements as they go up (deadline tomorrow) under the drop-down menu above or by going to main page and clicking on the links included.

We are a bit light-on in the images department so if anyone has some shots from the day please send them to us at info@ballarateast.net and we’ll credit you with the shot.

This is a great cause. I will happily lend whatever I can for the cause, as long as we are professional, and steadfast on the cause, bearing in mind the people the group represents always (not turned into a platform for other causes).

This group has amazing potential. My street in BE has boasted an amazing number of professionals in the ballarat business scene, all there for the amenity of the area.

Great meeting for sure, and some great information has come out too, now we need to get it really happening for next steps… phew, maybe after a lie down?
