To all those folk who objected to the development in 809 Wilson Street,

you will remember that the council has continued to reject this application however the developers have taken it to VCAT.

By now you should have received a letter from the Developers legal reps that you found fairly confusing. This letter is to let you know they have taken the matter to VCAT (copy of their application), to give you information you need to be able to make a representation at VCAT on the matter, and a form for you to fill out.

It seems that anything to do with planning can be very confusing, but don’t let that stop you, you’ve got to be in it to win it.

Your form needs to be returned by April 16th if you intend to keep up with the case on your own. However local residents have been meeting to put in a joint submission to VCAT. You can contact them at info@ballarateast.net if you haven’t heard directly from them already. You are welcome of course to go it alone or withdraw your application, we jsut thought you might need some help.
