Who’s in?

We need a group of residents to continue to push through on action required by council. These actions will come from the Actions suggested by our Community Meeting, and can be found here.

Resident Diane Chester has sent these in from the minutes of the Council’s meeting in January:

COUNCIL RESOLUTION
Council resolves to:
1. Request officers to prepare a briefing paper on the options available to
define Neighbourhood Character of the Ballarat East area as a guide to
determine future planning applications in the Ballarat East Area.
Moved: Cr. Hudson CARRIED
Seconded: Cr. Fletcher (R027/12)

You can find the full set of minutes here on the council website, it was in January Minutes. Who’s up for it? The next council meetings to ask questions are:

  • 11 April 2012
  • 26 April 2012
  • 9 May 2012
  • 23 May 2012
  • 13 June 2012
  • 27 June 2012
  • 11 July 2012
  • 25 July 2012

How about we get it done in time for my birthday?

Yes, I can do some of those meetings. Starting with April 11th. Have to get these guys onto this and keep them on task. So count me in. Thanks for drawing attention to it.
